In that context it's fine, but it doesn't trouble the classy sound of the high-end devices, or the plug-ins. Occasionally I'll be asked to plumb it into the mix as a try-out, but it hasn't made it to any of my final mixes. Serviceable enough I guess. Is the MX300 a decent step up? Can it do two effects well at once?
